Tim Becker, Partner
Tim brings to the table more than 30 years experience in public policy and government. He has served as a Chief of Staff in the U.S. Senate and as Director of Legislative Affairs, as well as Chief of Staff for the Governor of the State of Nebraska. In these positions, Becker’s responsibilities included developing and implementing legislative and budget initiatives, overseeing the day-to-day management and operation of state agencies, offices and staff, and guiding the Governor’s policy agenda to fruition. Becker also has expertise in policy development, constituent outreach, media relations, legislative lobbying and client representation on administrative and regulatory matters.
Prior experience includes service in both executive and legislative branches of government, including, Deputy Director of Policy Research, Senior Policy Advisor, Legislative Aide in the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature and Deputy Executive Director of the Lincoln Housing Authority. He has also been involved in numerous political and issue campaigns, having served as Chair of the Western Governors Association Staff Council and Vice President of a nonprofit housing and community development organization. Becker attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and majored in political science.
